\nDon\u2019t limit yourself to the backyard when it comes to being green.\n

While most gardeners are spending lots of hours outdoors this time of year, some are opting to bring the outside in. Author Willow Crossley offers step-by-step guides for doing just that, along with ideas for 50 projects in her book \u201cThe Art of Living with Nature\u201d (CICO Books).<\/p>\n

Working with photographer Emma Mitchell, she\u2019s elevating the status of gardens and says that art can even be found in a simple floral arrangement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings you have to think about before you start arranging include the size of the vase, where the vase is going, the colors of the flowers,\u201d she said. \u201cAre they going to work with each other in the room you\u2019re putting them in?\u201d<\/p>\n

Surround yourself with nature or at least natural elements, she added.<\/p>\n
